| Paul's quite the enigma. He's an asshole who makes so many mistakes, from cheating on his wife with the maid he knew for a long time (and revealed to have also slept with long before Paul and Zenith were together), to beating up Rudeus without questioning what happened when Rudeus took out the bullies who were targeting Sylphiette, to even just sending his ass packing in a fight and knocking him unconscious to prevent Rudeus from sticking around due to wanting to be with Sylphiette there/work to earn tuition for both of them. He's a guy that has the right intentions and heart at times, but fucks up in so many ways in other times that it's astounding. But while I can't support him morally, gotta admit, definitely an interesting character to say the least to watch, especially when reading the books later on. Nice seeing Rudeus months before having to leave his family (now including two sisters as well), actually help Lilia out with the assist that saved the whole family and household from completely falling apart to disaster. While Rudeus fabricated some stuff there, Paul was in the wrong for falling for the Lilia trap in the first place, along with Lilia for tempting him too. Sure, sexual drive is there for Lilia as a growing woman, especially when you hear the two of them go at it like animals every night, but the whole ordeal was just doomed to end in chaos if it wasn't for Rudeus' cheeky save through his plea towards his mom. One aspect about Mushoku Tensei's writing I love in general is how the story never feels stagnant and same for characterization as a whole, and after introducing the cast and world to a very basic degree, it's time for Rudeus to finally leave his comfort zone and explore new areas that he's never been to as well as tutor Eris so he can afford to go to university and evolve as a mage to prevent his stagnancy from eating his potential away. |
| I knew it was a matter of time before Zenith got pregnant, but Lillia too? I had a feeling something bad was going to happen, but that actually have be shook for a minute. This family is a freaking mess and have me uncomfortable the whole episode. I hope we get a little more explanation, because as an anime-only I feel like we're missing something. That something along with this the manga-readers hyping up this isekai is the main reason I'm still hopeful for this anime. Getting 1.5/3 strikes while only 4 episodes in has me concerned but still 🤞 please prove me wrong with good story. |

| Another great episode. I went 😬😬😬😬 after hearing that Lilia was pregnant with Paul's child. The atmosphere sure was tense there. Rudy saved Lilia and Zenith ended up forgiving Paul for some reason IDK why. LOL Roxy knew Rudy stole her pantsu hahah. Paul started fighting Rudy out of nowhere bruh. Guess we'll find out where that onee chan is taking him in next episode. 5/5. |

| That start of the episode though. My first "WTF" moment in this series. Had me facepalming with a shocked face for a while XD This is gonna be one heck of a horny Anime, won't it? Not complaining. As long as it's not Rudy (Middle-aged man inside) lewding on loli characters, I can make peace with it LOL (They won't do that right?... They won't... right?) EDIT: OMG. | Congrats to Paul and Zenith for having a baby and Lilia their maid oh no I think we know where this is going, Smooth talking by Rudy handling the situation but covering it with some lies but the end justifies the means they say Yeah Paul's gotta be a bit mad at Rudy looking that he's hitting hard at him but it looks like Lilia has a duty to serve more like her daughter at least to Rudy, Sylphie crying again that is not a sight to see but I'm glad Rudy's there to be there for her Roxy's letter seems like she already knew about that "holy relic" Rudy has lol even Paul knows it now, And oh no he's going far I'm concerned for Sylphie hope she's going to be strong about this. |

Paul is a scum and so is the MC, pretty good world building, fantastic production, but the way this series is handling the women is grossly distasteful.
