I saw Journey for the first time in December 2012 in Honolulu. I've been a fan since the early 80s and was thrilled to get to take my 11 year old to hear one of my favorite bands! Ross, Jonathan, and the rest of the guys are still as amazing as they were 30 years ago...and Arnel is sexy beyond belief! Fantastic singer and showman. He fits right in and I LOVED the show! Rock on, Journey!
Arnel is a great singer, I'm a Journey fan since the 70's and Arnel has made Journey relevant again...
Michael DeJean Steve Smith is an amazing drummer but they're not the same without Deen Castronovo he had lots more energy it seemed.

Arnel was homeless for more than a year only, not since birth. That's why it was so painful to him to experience such even just for a short period of his life. That's why he created a foundation especially for those who were born homeless.

Arnel not only brought Journey back to how good they were with Perry which put them back on top,plus Arnel also got to fulfill probably his biggest dream ever.Can you just imagine how unbelievable he must feel when he's by himself in a quiet place with nobody around?? I'm sure it's super stressful to have to be the guy that reigns everything in to make Journey who they are once again,but he must pinch himself every night when he crawls into his bunk on the Prevost and looks around to see where/who he is and what he has become & he probably does the same thing every morning too.IMO,looking in from the outside,I think Arnel found a gem,which is Journey,and Journey found a gem,which is Arnel. There are only a few bands that are just as huge with their new frontman as they were with their original one and this is definitely one of them.Not only was Journey a band with a singer who I felt was irreplaceable,but they're also a band that had lightning strike twice when Arnel showed up.IOW- Steve Perry was a lightning strike and so was Arnel,meaning both of them are the best of the best.When a band does a frontman lineup change,the original is usually great but the new one is only good or terrible,but in Journeys case,the original and the new one are both as good as it gets.Look at Van Halen.Both Roth & Hagar were equally great,but Charone was terrible.
Arnel has done awesome, but I think he’s fed up with the fighting within the band.

Me too here in Saudi Arabia... I got hook to watching their past concerts up to present and i love every video i watch... After hospital duty; listening to their colorful stories i just felt uplifted! I'm inspired by their stories especially to our pride kababayan sir Arnel Pineda😁... I gotta look for their CD's and purchase... Do i still get to buy those CD now? I MUST HAVE at least just few albums of theirs....😭... Rock on Journey!!!🤘🏻✊

Arnel never steal someone else life, arnel is very humble man and also he have a great voice/talent, don't say that he is stealing someone elses life god give him a right place to show his talent to the people. FYI one of the journey member said that Arnel have a place in the band.

Stellar when schon, also arnel do the hand slap during schons lead-break who's cryin. Timing they have is extraordinary, along with schon never ending runs that are so well played. Star spangle banner live performance, schon was spectacular within written tract, also his patented additions filling in the gaps as usual.

I worked backstage at many many festivals and concerts in the Milwaukee area and always found it interesting to watch the musicians as they get ready to go on stage. Many of them had a routine or ritual, as it were, that they would do to "get in the zone".

It's unfortunate that even to this day, there are some bashers around for Arnel Pineda.AP is the lead singer successfully performing sold-out concerts all over the world--for 15 years now( from 2007--2022) AP publicly claimed that he would step back anytime SPwishes to rejoinJourney--BUT SP does not want to do Tour Concert again! So. it's been 35 years now since SP left Journey, as an SP fan -I too have moved on!-So as SP for sure.!! Without a show of Live concerts, normally the songs fade away--along with the band!-- --Let's just enjoy the music-no more bashing around, please.
